Our Garden Gang is designed to give kids ages 5-10 an
opportunity to participate in fun, educational programs to teach about the joy of nature and the love of plants. Younger siblings welcome!

About Our Instructor: Brooke Summers grew up on a farm in Pickaway County and is a former first grade teacher for the Logan Elm school district. She is currently a stay at home mother of three young boys. She hopes to share her enthusiasm for gardening with children and help them experience the anticipation and joy of planting and watching something come to life.

Wear your old clothes and get ready to dig. We will plant several gardens including a cutting garden with colorful flowers, an ice cream confetti garden and a bean tepee.
June 12 6:00-7:00 Toad"ally Toads
Did you know toads are one of the most beneficial creatures to reside in your garden? We will search for some in our garden and make a shelter you can place in your garden at home.
July 14 11:00-12:00 Ladybugs & Lemonade
Join us for lemonade in the garden as we learn about ladybugs
and their benefits. We will discover what plants attract ladybugs
and plant some in our garden.
August 16 6:00-7:00 Celebrating Summer
Try some garden goodies, listen to nature poems and play
some garden guessing games. We will also collect leaves from
our garden to press and use in a journal.
September-November events coming soon
